Ostomy scissors are designed to facilitate easy cutting of an ostomy adhesive to the exact size required:

• Curved scissor blades – to facilitate circular cuts
• The upper blade has small ‘teeth’ – ensuring that the adhesive does not slip while being cut, while keeping the scissors in place. The adhesive is much easier to control, ensuring a smoothly cut line.
• The lower blade has a rounded end – guiding the circular cutting and to avoid damaging the pouch of a one-piece appliance.
